Ikväll är det Elle-galan, vilket ska bli så roligt. Redan på den fina inbjudan ser man att det kommer bli en bra fest – älskar den. Så här såg det ut för två år sedan, 2011. Istället för kort klänning blir det ikväll en lång, svepande sak. Kan bli bra.

Tonight’s is the ELLE awards in Stockholm, and I’m really excited. The invitation is beautiful, and you can feel how much time and effort ELLE spends on this great evening. This picture above is from the awards two years ago, 2011, which was a great night. But tonight I’m planning on wearing a long evening dress. Looking forward.

Bästa skönhetsinspirationen just nu står omslaget på Style.com:s printversion för. Fuschiafärgat läppstift, flytande kolsvart eyeliner, matt hy, rufsiga ögonbryn och feta fransar. Älskar det.

The best beauty inspiration right now: the cover of Style.com:s print version. Fuchsia lips, black liquid eyeliner, matte complexion, wild grown (!) eyebrows and big fat lashes. Love it.

Weekday Collection fortsätter att imponera – höstkollektionen är fylld av de där perfekta plaggen som bygger en bra garderob. Bra kvalité och passform, men med en yngre touch på de klassiska plaggen. Den här jackan och shortsen i nappa-läder står högt upp på önskelistan.

I’m so impressed by Weekday Collection, as the line is getting stronger and stronger every season. The quality and cut is great and the collection is based on those perfect garments that build a great style and wardrobe. It’s classic pieces but with a younger edge and more attitude. I have to have this jacket and the nappa leather shorts..

I tisdags var jag på visningen av Lindex samarbete med Missoni. Det är ett riktigt fint samarbete, där man nästan glömmer bort att det är en budgetkollektion. Mina favoritlooks från kollektionen är de två ovan, och det är även de plaggen jag själv kommer satsa på. Finast bär man plaggen som på andra bilden, där man mixar två liknande mönster. Kollektionen finns ut 25:e september (10 % av försäljningen går till bröstcancerforskning). Visningen var fint stylad, och skönhetsnörd som jag är älskade jag den glossiga bakåtstrukna håret och naturliga sminkningen som såg till att plaggen var i fokus. Mycket genomtänkt.

This week I attended the Lindex x Missoni fashion show, to take a closer look at the great collaboration. They have managed to make the collection look very exclusive and not at all like a budget collection. My favorite looks from the collection are they the looks above, and I will try to get hold of the skirt, pants, scarf and sweater in these looks. I love the styling in the second picture, where the similar patterns are mixed together. Well done. I also loved the beauty look with the glossy back combed hair and natural face, that completed the full look.

I torsdags gick jag och Columbine förbi öppningen av Sveriges första Denim & Supply-butik efter jobbet. Jag tycker att det är bra och roligt att fler internationella varumärken öppnar i Stockholm, det ger alla nuvarande butiker och varumärken i Stockholm en välbehövlig konkurrens och håller dem på tårna, vilket slutligen leder till att du som konsument får det allra bästa – både när det gäller utbud, service och butiksupplevelse.

Håret är tvättat med Kérastase Cristalliste-serien (för långt och tjockt hår, finns även för tunt och långt hår), fönat med Moroccanoil i längderna när håret är fuktigt, och makeupen är Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation, puder från Maybelline FIT Me!-linjen i färgen “Buff Biege”, Make up Stores rouge i färgen “Coral Lace”, bronzepuder i färgen “Warm Glow” från The Body Shop (syns inte direkt med blixten..), highlighter DuWop Doubleglow 7,  mascara Max Factor 2000 Calories Waterproof i svart.

Last Thursday Columbine and I went past the opening of Sweden’s first Denim & Supply store. I think it’s great and fun that more and more international brands open stores in Stockholm, it gives everyone all other stores and brands in Stockholm the much needed competition and keeps them on their toes, which ultimately leads to that you as a consumer get the very best, both when it comes to range of products and level of service and store experience.
